AZ Credit Union Week - Oct. 14-17
For the third year in a row, Arizona Financial is excited to join with our partner credit unions across Arizona to celebrate AZ Credit Union Week.
Local activities & events
This year 18 credit unions will participate in activities such as “pay it forward” events at local businesses, a day of giving for local nonprofits, and financial education activities.
AZCU Week was created to coincide with International Credit Union Day, which is celebrated each year on the third Thursday of October.

New Arizona Financial Foundation
We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Arizona Financial Foundation. Through the Foundation, we'll be able to expand our charitable giving, focusing on domestic violence awareness, first responders, financial education and community engagement.
Funding for the Foundation will come from the Local Causes debit card program as well as opportunities to seek donations from members, employees, vendors, and the community at large.
With this plan to increase funding, we intend to impact even more local nonprofits that do critical work in our communities.
The new Arizona Financial Foundation will be focused on supporting the following four pillars:
- Domestic Violence Awareness
- First Responders
- Financial Education & Literacy
- Community Engagement

Skip a Payment & free up cash for the holidays
With the holidays just around the corner, our Skip-A-Payment program gives you the financial flexibility to skip a monthly payment on eligible loan or credit card accounts.
It’s an easy way to help free up cash for the holidays, vacation or an unexpected expense!
How to get started
To take advantage of the Skip-A-Payment program, just log in to your account online or the mobile app to see if your loan or credit card is eligible.
How does Skip-A-Payment work?
When you skip a payment, the payment is not waived but postponed, extending the length or term of your loan. This adjustment can help free up funds without drastically altering your long-term financial obligations.
As a reminder, interest will still accrue on the skipped payment. This accrued interest will need to be paid at the end of the loan term.
If you have questions, call 602-683-1000 or send us a message through your online banking or the mobile app.
