Here's the latest news and announcements for the members of Arizona Financial Credit Union.

Arizona Financial awards $60,000 in grants to Arizona nonprofits

Local-CausesThanks to our members for voting and helping us select the latest Arizona nonprofit organizations to receive nearly $60,000 in grants through our Local Causes giveback program.

Every time you make a purchase with your desert-themed Local Causes Visa® debit card, the credit union contributes to the Arizona Financial Community Fund – then awards the funds to smaller nonprofit organizations throughout Arizona to support their programs.

Congratulations to our 10 grants recipients!

  • $15,000 – United Sound
  • $10,000 – Meals to Grow - Matthew’s Crossing Foodbank
  • $10,000 – Creighton Community Program
  • $5,000 – 3rd Decade
  • $5,000 – Archwood Exchange
  • $2,500 – Cancer Support Community Arizona
  • $2,500 – ARCH
  • $2,500 – Teen Time Outreach
  • $2,500 – Larry Lord Foundation
  • $2,500 – Foothills Gymnastics Association

Do you know a nonprofit in need of funding?

Local nonprofits can apply for a grant at ArizonaFinancial.org/Grant.

Applications are accepted in the spring and fall and will be announced on the credit union’s website.

Nearly $300,000 in grants awarded

Since launching the Local Causes debit card in August of 2020, we have distributed close to $300,000 to local nonprofits serving our community in the areas of education, equality/social inclusion, community services, children and youth, sustainability, animal welfare and public safety.

Money Management: Free personal finance tool

As a member of Arizona Financial, you have access to our free personal financial management (PFM) online tool – Money Management – for help tracking spending, creating budgets and seeing your entire financial picture in one place. You can even view accounts at other credit unions and banks.

To get started, log in to your account and look for the Money Management link. It’s under the More tab in the mobile app and the Manage Money tab in online banking.

You can shop online at their showroom – or let them do the legwork for you. They can help you find the perfect new or used vehicle at a great price. Plus, qualified members can get a 0.25% loan rate discount on your Arizona Financial auto loan when you purchase through Members’ Auto Center.

Call for petitions 

If you’re interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors and missed out on submitting a nomination, you can petition the membership to be placed on the ballot.

To qualify, you must have become a member of the credit union prior to December 31, 2023, and submit a petition signed by at least 500 Arizona Financial members by March 1, 2024.
