To be eligible, you must have received our promotional recurring bill pay offer for the card number listed in the email and must meet the following terms:

  • Set up and pay 3 recurring bills with qualifying providers by MM/DD/YYYY. If you qualify, the credit award will be awarded as $15 and applied to your account 2-3 billing cycles after the end of the promotion period. The maximum number of credits awarded is $15 per qualifying card.
  • This offer is not transferable. Your account must remain open and be in good standing (not past due or overdrawn) to qualify. This offer may not apply if your debit card is not in good standing.
  • Arizona Financial cannot control how merchants choose to identify their business and/or classify purchases and reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify.
  • Contact your billers to learn what types of payments they accept; not all billers accept debit card payments. All bonuses are considered income and may be reported on IRS Form 1099-MISC.

It is an automatic payment from your checking account via your debit card on a set schedule, such as monthly or annually. It is distinct from bill pay, where Arizona Financial sends payments to a company. With a recurring payment, the merchant "pulls" the funds from the member's account based on a one-time authorization.  

What are the benefits of setting up recurring payment?

Avoiding late fees, improving your credit score, saving time and hassle, and potentially earning you discounts on bills like utilities or subscriptions. This automation ensures you never miss a payment, even if you forget, while providing a convenient and streamlined way to manage ongoing expenses.

 

How do you qualify for this promotion?

By setting up a qualified merchant that offers recurring bill payments. While we cannot guarantee they qualify, some good indictors may be transactions billed at regular intervals for a product or service such as streaming subscriptions, insurance, utilities, gym memberships, and more.  

How quickly will the statement credit for this promotion apply?

It will reflect in your checking account once you meet the promotion requirements within 2 to 3 statement cycles but could be sooner. Description on your statement will say, AZFCU Promo Credit. 

Can I cancel or change recurring debit card payments?

If for any reason you need to cancel or change the convenience of recurring payments on your debit card, please contact the merchant first. They often have an online portal or mobile apps where you can manage subscriptions and cancel payments. You may also call the merchant to notify them of the request. Prior notice is needed, and it's best to contact the merchant a few days before the payment is scheduled. 

What cards qualify for this promotion?

Refer to the email for the promotion offer and the last four digits of your consumer debit card. If you share an email address, you may get multiple emails per card offer.
