At Arizona Financial Credit Union, we believe in making a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve. One way we have expanded that impact is by establishing Arizona Financial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.Through the Foundation, the credit union will have increased funding opportunities to expand its charitable giving with a focus on four key areas of need.

Foundation pillars

The Foundation will focus on important initiatives under its four pillars, including:

  • Domestic Violence Awareness
  • First Responders
  • Financial Education & Literacy
  • Community Engagement

Debit card giveback programs

In 2025, through the Local Causes debit card giveback program, Arizona Financial Foundation awarded $300,000 in grants to 21 Arizona nonprofits. Through the program, every time members use their Local Causes debit card to make a purchase, the credit union makes a donation to the Foundation to fund the grants. Since the program began in 2020, we have awarded $800,000 in grants to over 100 Arizona nonprofits.

In addition to the Local Causes debit card, Arizona Financial offers the 100 Club of Arizona Visa®  debit card, which helps support Arizona's first responders and their families.

Foundation funding

Funding for the Foundation will come from the credit union's debit card programs. In addition by establishing the Foundation, we’ll have opportunities to seek donations from members, employees, vendors, and the community at large.

With the Foundation’s increased funding opportunities, we intend to impact even more local nonprofits that do critical work in our communities.

How you can help

Contributions to the Foundation will help support community initiatives and expand our impact. Arizona Financial members can make donations from their account online or at any branch. You can also help support local nonprofits by using your Local Causes debit card for everyday purchases.
