At Arizona Financial, supporting the communities we serve has always been an important part of who we are.
This year, funded by the credit union's Local Causes debit card giveback program, the Arizona Financial Foundation awarded $400,000 in charitable grants to 24 local nonprofits whose work is making a meaningful difference in communities across the state.
This brings the total amount donated through the Local Causes debit card program to $1.2 million.

With the launch of the Foundation in 2025, we've expanded our charitable giving to local nonprofits, focusing on domestic violence awareness, first responders, financial education & literacy, and community engagement.
Through the Foundation, Arizona Financial has increased funding opportunities as well. In addition to receiving contributions from members and employees, the credit union has received donations from community and business partners, including:

The grants are also made possible with the help of our members, just by using their debit card.
Through our Local Causes debit card giveback program, every time Arizona Financial members make a purchase with their Local Causes debit card, the credit union makes a donation to the Foundation to fund the grants.
Arizona Financial also offers the 100 Club of Arizona Visa® debit card, providing another way for members to give back by helping support Arizona’s first responders and their families.
As part of the grants selection process, finalists shared short videos or stories about their organizations and the work they do. The videos were posted on our website, where our members and the public voted for the organizations they would most like to support.
Thank you to everyone who voted and helped us select this year’s grant recipients. Your participation helps direct support to organizations making a difference throughout Arizona.
This year, 24 nonprofit organizations received grants to support their work in communities throughout Arizona. Our top grant recipient, Son y Arte, a youth mariachi and cultural arts organization, received $30,000.
